Brass

The brass band was formed in 1961! In the autumn of 1961, Lars-Olof Nilsson from Taberg took over the leadership. Under his direction, the orchestra grew and developed rapidly,
and during a period in the 80’s and 90’s, the brass band was very successful.

Today we are a little fewer members but we keep going, now in project form. We meet 1-2 times before the gigs we have during the year.

The social part is very important, and the times we practice we are offered coffee and we also talk about other things than music.
The exercises always end with a little reading from our devotional book.

We welcome everyone who is interested in brass music and plays any brass instrument.
